Big news from us at Reuseabox, we’ve officially purchased a new 78,000 sq. ft warehouse in North Hykeham, Lincoln!

After renting two separate warehouses in Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire over the last few years, this is a huge milestone in our journey to making reuse the norm in the packaging industry.

This move marks a significant leap from our previous 20,000 sq. ft of space, giving us nearly four times the capacity to scale our operations. With this additional space, we’ve also been able to welcome more suppliers on board, including a leading pharmaceutical company and introduce even more lines of used boxes.

Our new site became fully operational in March 2025 and will now serve as our main headquarters. With this move, it will make it easier for us to scale our mission to help more businesses reuse cardboard boxes.

While this move follows the closure of Cartwright Brothers after over 100 years in business, we see this as an opportunity to breathe new life into a historic site. Because Cartwright Brothers built a strong legacy in Lincolnshire, we’re honoured to continue that tradition of serving businesses and the local community.

Our founder, Jack Good, shared his thoughts on the transition:

“It’s always sad to see a long-standing business like Cartwright Brothers close its doors. They played a vital role in the community for over a century, and we hope to carry forward a legacy of service and sustainability from this site.

“Purchasing our own site after 10 years of operating has taken sheer determination and continuous reinvestment into scaling our operations. This move marks a new chapter for Reuseabox, giving us the space and infrastructure to grow even further. There’s plenty of work ahead to make this site our own, but we’re excited to get started. We can’t wait to welcome suppliers and customers in the autumn as part of our 10-year anniversary celebrations.”

The new site will allow us to:

• Improve our operations and services for businesses looking to cut waste
• Expand our team and introduce more employment opportunities in the area

This expansion not only strengthens our ability to support businesses in reducing waste but also reinforces our commitment to sustainability and the circular economy. As we invest in additional infrastructure, we’re working towards making our warehouse carbon neutral by 2030. This will ensure that our operations align with our long-term environmental goals.
