We’re doing something a little different this summer.

On 11th July, the Reuseabox team will be swapping the warehouse for the water as we enter the Lincoln Dragon Boat Festival. Our team name? Pirates of the Cardboardian. Yes, really.

We’re competing to raise money for Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance, our chosen charity partner for 2026. Every paddle stroke will be in aid of a cause that saves lives across Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire every single day.

What is the Lincoln Dragon Boat Festival?

The Lincoln Dragon Boat Festival is a community event organised by Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance and Ringrose Law. Teams from businesses across the region compete in dragon boat races along the water, all in the name of friendly competition and fundraising. It’s a day of teamwork, community spirit, and a brilliant cause. We can’t wait to be part of it.

Why Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance?

At the start of 2026, our whole team voted to choose our charity partner for the year. The result was clear: Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance. You can read more about that decision here.

LNAA provides a critical Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) across Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire, responding to serious and life-threatening emergencies 365 days a year. Their team of doctors, paramedics, and pilots bring advanced medical care directly to the scene, often when every second counts.

What makes their work even more remarkable is that they receive no government or NHS funding. Every mission depends on the generosity of local people and businesses. That’s why we’re proud to be raising money for them this year.

There are two ways to support the Pirates of the Cardboardian.

• You can donate directly to our fundraising page. Every pound goes straight to Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance and helps keep the helicopter in the air.
