March is B Corp Month. AReuseabox, we’re proud to be part of a global movement of businesses that think boldly, act for change, and demand a better future.

As a Certified B Corporation, we believe business has to be a force for good, and our certification is our way of showing our commitment to using business to benefit people and the environment.

Why We Became a B Corp

In May 2023 we gained B Corp certification with a score of 90.7. We were delighted to have passed on our first attempt. To celebrate we decided to ‘reuse-a-box’ to make our announcement:

To us, being a B Corp is all about accountability, transparency, and action. We don’t wish to be viewed as just another packaging company. We’re here to transform the way companies think about waste. That’s we work with businesses, helping them reduce their environmental impact by reusing cardboard boxes.

B Corp provides a framework for us to measure our impact and continually improve. It holds us to the highest standards of social and environmental performance, ensuring that we’re not only doing good business but doing business for good.

How We’re Celebrating B Corp Month

This year, we’re embracing the theme of ‘Gen B’. A generation of people using business to drive positive change. Whether young or old, big or small, every B Corp shares the belief that a better way of doing business is possible.

Here’s what we’ve got planned to celebrate B Corp Month:

1. People Planet Pint Events

We’re hosting not one, but TWO People Planet Pint events in Lincoln(shire) this month! These informal gatherings are an opportunity for sustainability professionals, business leaders, and change-makers to come together, share ideas, and discuss how we can work together to create a better future.

2. B Corp Learning Session

Education is key to driving meaningful change. That’s why we’re holding an in-house learning session for our team to dive deeper into what it means to be a B Corp. We’ll explore the impact we’re making, discuss areas for improvement, and reaffirm our commitment to leading for good.

3. Celebrating Fellow B Corps

We know that meaningful change doesn’t happen in isolation. That’s why we’re taking time this month to celebrate and collaborate with other Certified B Corps. Whether it’s sharing their stories, championing their products and services, or connecting with them at events. We’re proud to be part of this thriving community that’s working together for a better world.

4. Educating Our Stakeholders

One of the best things we can do as a B Corp is to let others know why this movement matters. Throughout the month of March, we’ll be engaging with our stakeholders to educate them about what it means to be a B Corp and why we decided to certify. By sharing our story, we hope to inspire others to join in and be a part of the movement.

Looking Ahead

This month is a time to look back at how far we’ve come, but also a reminder that we haven’t reached the finish line. As we keep growing, we’re still looking for new ways to make a positive difference on the planet and our people.
