Giving back to our community and protecting the planet is at the heart of everything we do at Reuseabox (well, apart from helping businesses reuse cardboard boxes!)

As 2024 draws to a close, we’re proud to reflect on the incredible charitable milestones we’ve achieved this year, from supporting local causes to making a global difference.

Supporting Local Charities

 This year, Beaumond House Hospice Care was our 2024 Charity Partner as voted by our team.

Through various fundraising challenges, volunteering and competing in the Newark Dragon Boat Race, we raised an incredible £1,140 to support their essential work in providing compassionate end-of-life care in Newark.

Through the Dragon Boat Race, we also raised £600 for the Children’s Bereavement Centre.

But our support didn’t stop there. We also donated boxes to the YMCA Newark & Sherwood and Newark Emmaus Trust for their Big Newark Sleep Out event. Each year, this event aims to raise awareness about homelessness and provide crucial support to those experiencing it.

Making a Global Impact

 Our commitment to the planet is reflected in our partnership with Eden: People + Planet. This year, we donated an incredible £18,504. These funds have gone toward restoring forests and empowering communities in Africa, making a real difference in the fight against deforestation and climate change.

But we didn’t just stop there when it came to helping nature.

Twice this year, our team volunteered their time and got involved locally by planting trees with Protect Earth.

A Year of Teamwork and Impact 

2024 has shown the incredible power of collaboration. Whether raising funds through challenges, volunteering at events, or supporting organisations both locally and globally, our team has demonstrated an exceptional commitment to making a positive impact.

As we look ahead to 2025, we’re inspired to continue our mission. To shape a better future for people and the planet.
