Here’s a look at how we got here, why we changed, and what you can expect as part of the Reuseabox community.
Our rebranding journey
The journey to rebranding began in 2023, when we partnered with Factory 39, Digital Focus Creatives, and Confid3ntial to deeply reflect on our mission and values, leading to the strategic repositioning of Reuseabox.
When we first started Reuseabox, our goal was simple: to help businesses save money with used cardboard boxes. But as we’ve grown and learned more about the critical environmental challenges we face – and worked with the University of Lincoln to determine why reuse is better than recycling for the planet –  it became clear that our brand needed to evolve to better communicate our broader vision for sustainability.
Through conversations with our team, customers, and industry experts, we realised that while we were communicating our mission, our brand wasn’t fully capturing the essence of our dedication to environmental stewardship.
We knew it was time for a brand refresh that would not only reflect our core values but also inspire others to think more sustainably about packaging and waste. Working with Root Studio, we established what we felt was a true visual representation of what Reuseabox stands for.
Why we rebranded
- Clarifying our mission: Our rebranding helps us communicate our broader mission more clearly – encouraging a community of businesses to work together to change the way packaging is used. We aim to inspire a shift in thinking, encouraging everyone to consider the full lifecycle of the products they use, beyond just recycling.
- Aligning with evolving values: As society increasingly values responsible consumption, we wanted our brand to reflect this shift. Our rebrand underscores our commitment to eco-friendly practices, helping our customers make more sustainable choices and be part of the solution to reduce waste and lower carbon emissions.
- A fresh, modern look: We wanted our visual identity to reflect what we’re trying to achieve. Our new logo, colours, and overall design are modern and inviting, reflecting our mission and values at Reuseabox. We believe this fresh look will resonate more deeply with our customers and partners, making our mission more accessible and engaging.
What you can expect in the coming months from Reuseabox
Along with a fresh new look, we’re excited to announce the launch of a new website this Autumn, working with the team at Quickfire.
As a customer, this new platform will make it even easier for you to order our products and track and share your environmental impact through the reuse of cardboard boxes. As a supplier, you’ll be able to request collections more easily, see exactly what happens when you send your cardboard waste for reuse and track that impact.
This means you’ll be able to make even more informed and impactful decisions when it comes to reducing the carbon footprint of your packaging.
