A well-known Dairy was using cardboard layer pads to separate layers of milk bottles on a pallet. The sheets were needed to give strength and stability to the pallet and prevent any damages. The bottles were stacked and secured onto the pallet ready to be distributed to supermarkets up and down the country.

The Challenge

The Dairy was struggling with supply issues. They wanted to order the layer pads on a just in time basis to cut down on storage costs. They were also interested in seeing if they could cut costs by switching to once used layer pads.

The Result

After placing a trial order, the Dairy agreed to switch to once used layer pads for dividing their products. This created a substantial cost saving and was also more environmentally sustainable.
