In our industry of events, meetings and conferences there can be a huge amount of waste. From plastic bottles, to event flyers and disposable coffee cups, these things all add up. The events industry wastes 10% of everything it produces. And the average event attendee produces 1.89 kg of waste per day, with 1.16 kg of that going to landfill. In many conferences, 60-80% of paper materials may end up being discarded, especially if not digitised. At Lim, we’re always looking for ways we can work more sustainably. That’s why we’ve stopped using foam boards. We use refillable Neuland pens and as well as working more digitally we’ve been exploring paper alternatives. This is what led us to Reuseabox. When we do use paper, the visual is scanned and the original paper visual kept by the client so it doesn’t go to waste.
